The health and well-being of our team members and guests have always been our topmost priority at Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives. In light of the current global health crisis, we have stepped up our health and safety measures, working closely with local health authorities and adhering to the guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) to delivering exceptional hospitality and experiences as our guests have come to expect from our luxury resort.

- Temperature check upon arrival
- Welcome health & safety kits are provided to all guests
- All luggages are sanitised prior to resort transfer
- Enhanced cleanliness & hygiene standards, including rigorous sanitisation in all villas and public areas
- Guests are required to wear masks at the spa and at the gym
- All resort information and menus are in digital format and accessible via QR code
- Dine-in reservations are required to avoid overcrowding at restaurants and bars
- À la carte menu only, self-service buffets have been suspended
- Dedicated COVID-19 response team on call
- All team members are required to wear masks, gloves and undergo temperature checks daily
- Hand sanitisers are easily accessible throughout the resort
- Safe distancing measures apply at all public and back of house areas
- Effective 10 September 2020, all tourists and short term visitors will need to present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 upon arrival (certificate to be in English language)
- The test should be conducted 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure from the first port of embarkation en route to the Maldives
- Only infants aged under one year of age are exempted from the above mandatory requirement
- Prior to your departure from the resort, PCR testing is facilitated by the resort for your convenience
- As an added value for stays more than 7 nights when booked directly before 31 March 2021, the PCR test is offered free of charge

- This valuable recognition was granted in recognition of the island nation's continuous efforts to implement enhanced health and safety measures, in line with the WTTC global "Safe Travels protocols"
- The Global Safety Stamp is a specially designed stamp that will allow travellers to recognise governments and companies around the world which have adopted health and hygiene global standardised protocols to experience ‘Safe Travels’
- The stamp is endorsed by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and more than 200 travel companies
- It is the world’s first-ever global safety and hygiene stamp for Travel and Tourism designed to address COVID-19 and similar outbreaks
