Within Otaru city, you can take the train from Otaru-Chikko Station (the closest station to the hotel) to Minami-Otaru or Otaru Station, and explore the canal, Sakaimachi Street, and other areas on foot or by local bus. The Yoichi and Niki area is also accessible by train. Once there, local buses serve some wineries, though a few are a bit farther from the bus stops, so taking a taxi can be more convenient depending on the location. Please note that public transportation options toward the Niseko area (including Shinsen-numa) are limited, so we recommend traveling by car.
