Accommodation Tax
An accommodation tax has been introduced in Hokkaido Prefecture and the City of Otaru effective 1 April 2026.
Please note that even if you make a reservation before 1 April, 2026, the accommodation tax will be applied for stays on or after 1 April, 2026.
The rates listed on our website do not include the accommodation tax, so the tax will be collected at the front desk upon check-in.
