Please review our hotel policies and terms here. We kindly ask that all guests read them carefully.

Emergency Exits

Emergency exits are located at both ends of the corridor on each guest room floor.
Please be sure to check their locations.

Automatic Door Lock

Guest room doors are equipped with a card-key automatic lock.

Hold your card key over the black sensor. When the green light turns on, the door will unlock.

If the door does not unlock, please contact the Front Desk using the telephone in the elevator hall.

For security reasons, the room number is not printed on the card key.

Check-out

Check-out time is 10:00 am.
(except for certain stay plans)

Late check-out is available for an additional fee.
Please note that availability depends on room occupancy on the day of departure, and requests may not always be accommodated.

Wi-FI

The Wi-Fi ID and password can be found inside the drawer of the dresser desk in your guest room.

Light Switches

The orange switch located near the guest room door is the main power switch.

The switch below it controls the ceiling lights in the room.

For bathroom lights, bedside lights, and other lighting, please use the individual switches or the switches on the night table.

Air Conditioning

The air-conditioning control panel is located on the wall beside the bed on the bathroom side.

At this time of year, heating only is available.
Please note that cool air is not available.

※ Once the room temperature is set too high, it may be difficult to lower it afterward. For your comfort, please avoid overheating the room.

Yukata (Japanese Robe) and Slippers

Yukata are located in the drawer of the luggage rack next to the TV.
Slippers are stored in the closet.

Please use the yukata and slippers inside the guest room only.

Children’s yukata and slippers are also available. If you need them, please contact the Front Desk.

Ice Machine and Vending Machines

Ice machines and vending machines are located next to the emergency exit on the elevator side of each floor.

Microwave Ovens

Microwave ovens are available in the ice machine rooms on the 7th, 10th, 13th, 14th, and 17th floors.

Tap Water

Tap water in the guest rooms is safe for drinking.

Valuables

Please use the in-room safe located inside the closet to store valuables.

For luggage other than valuables, we can store items in the safety deposit room after completing the required procedure.

Please contact the Front Desk for assistance.

Frozen Items

Frozen items can be stored at the Front Desk. Please let us know if you require this service.

Air Purifier

Each guest room is equipped with an air purifier with a humidifying function.

Fill the water tank and start operation to activate the humidifier automatically.

Amenities

To reduce plastic waste, amenities are not provided in the guest rooms.

Please take only the items you need from the Front Desk counter.

Smoking Policy

The entire hotel is non-smoking.

A designated smoking area is available outside on the 1st floor, located at the far left after exiting the main entrance.

If evidence of smoking is found in a guest room, a penalty fee will be charged.

Please also note that bringing cigarette butts into the room is considered smoking, and the same penalty fee will apply.

Chikko Rinkai Park

A pedestrian path with benches runs between the park and the adjacent Otaru Marina, making it perfect for a relaxing walk. You can enjoy views of the sea and the marina.

Otaru Marina

Primarily a docking facility for yachts and boats, it is also designated as a “Sea Station,” so visitors are welcome. The marina features shops, cafes, showers, and coin laundries to support marine leisure activities.

Wing Bay Otaru / Aeon Otaru

Wing Bay Otaru, directly connected to JR Otaru-Chikko Station and Grand Park Otaru, is a large shopping and entertainment complex with shops, a cinema, and an event stage. On the west side of Wing Bay is Aeon Otaru, a full-service supermarket offering groceries, souvenirs, pharmaceuticals, and more.

Nantaru Market

A market about a 5-minute drive from the hotel along the Katsunai River. It offers fresh seafood, vegetables, meat, handmade prepared foods, daily goods, and more at reasonable prices. Popular among local residents and visitors from the Sapporo area.

Katsunai River

One of seven secondary rivers in Otaru, flowing from Tenjin to Okusawa, Mae, and the Chikko/Katsunai area where Grand Park Otaru is located, and finally into Otaru Port. The riverside area includes Minami Otaru Market and is also known for salmon migrating upstream in autumn.
